• Minimize the risks and hazards in the physical environment
• Manage staff activities to reduce the risk of occupational and environmental injuries
• Maintain the Hospital is a state of readiness to respond to community and internal emergencies and disasters.

§         Ensure that the Hospital meets or exceeds regulatory and accreditation requirements related to the physical environment and worker safety

§         Minimize occupational and work-related injuries and illnesses

§         Minimize risks and hazards to patients and visitors and other who enter the hospital environment.
