Join us for our "Healthy Heart Day" on
Wednesday, February 14th, 7:30 am to noon.

  • Get your blood pressure and cardiovascular risk assessment checked free!
    (Please bring recent cholesterol/lipid lab results)
  • Cholesterol Screenings* will be available for $30
Our Pharmacists will provide informationPharmacists from KY Clinic Pharmacy and PharmacistCARE will have information for you about high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

* Cholesterol screenings on February 14th by appointment only.

flu and pneumonia vaccines
on Saturday, October 28, 2006 from 9 am to 1 pm.

Flu vaccine - $20
Pneumonia vaccine - $40

We will accept Medicare and cash paying patients.
Please bring your Medicare card with you.

There is free parking in the KY Clinic parking garage.

Free Health Fair!

Join us Saturday, September 30 from 9-1 at KY Clinic Pharmacy. 
There will be blood glucose and blood pressure screenings.  We will be providing information/education about diabetes, immunizations, asthma/COPD, GERD, and hypertension.  We hope to see you there for screenings, education, and give-aways!

It's important as many prescription and OTC medications for children
are dosed based on weight.  When you get a prescription filled
for your child, be sure to give us his or her weight
and we will verify the appropriateness of the dose.

Through Hemoglobin A1c monitoring, you and you physician will be able to know if you diabetes is under control.

Free Health Fare on October 22nd
The Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy and the Kentucky Alliance of Pharmacy Students from the UK College of Pharmacy have organized a:

Free Heath Fair
October 22nd from 9 am - 1 pm. at the Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy
Everyone is invited and free parking is available. 

Free blood glucose testing and blood pressure measurements will be performed and information on Medicare Part D, Heartburn, Asthma/COPD, and interactions between prescription and medications and herbal products will be provided.  Bring all your medications, including over the counter medications, in a bag and go over your regimen with pharmacists and pharmacy students. Please come with any questions about side effects, etc!.

Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy Awarded KADAP Contract
On July 1, 2005 the Kentucky Clinic Pharmacy began exclusive service to a state-wide network through the Kentucky AIDS Drug Assistance Program (KADAP).  KADAP is a Ryan White Grant program administered by the HIV/AIDS Branch of the Kentucky Department for Public Health that provides medications to HIV positive individuals who could not otherwise afford them.  The service consists of preparation and dispensing of KADAP formulary medications, counseling and education services, compliance counseling and tracking and mail order service for delivery when requested.

Merck withdraws Vioxx®, FDA Issues Public Health Advisory

FDA Logo links to FDA home pageThe Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today acknowledged the voluntary withdrawal from the market of Vioxx (chemical name rofecoxib), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) manufactured by Merck & Co.  FDA today also issued a Public Health Advisory to inform patients of this action and to advise them to consult with a physician about alternative medications.  Additional information, as well as questions and answers for patients, is available online at the FDA website.
